Surprise Visitor

Walking on the wilder side of the lake at the Japanese Garden in Cowden, Scotland this purple plant stood out like a surprise visitor. The walk is a muted palette of browns, greens and wood colors, and then this little thing, like a bunch of grapes pops up. I don’t know what it is and in way I don’t want to, surely the magic of guessing is a thing to treasure and not spoil. Photographed by: Craig Kleber
